Free classes? John Muir Academy has teamed with ide@s, the portal website for Wisconsin curriculum and educational resources, to offer free classes for Wisconsin teachers. Teachers can take classes at John Muir Academy and waive the $350 registration fee, if they agree to submit two curricular units to ide@s. Typically, these kinds of units are the work teachers do anyway for their grad credits at John Muir. A feature class that will be taught by Sharon Ellner is Teach Essentials, an Intel course that will take teachers through all the steps necessary for completing the units for ide@s.
